The project involves the design and branding of the Contracorrente Podcast, a platform dedicated to amplifying the visibility and value of emerging cultural production from favelas. The initiative targets young listeners (14-25 years old) from middle to upper-class backgrounds, aiming to broaden their perspectives, while also showcasing the talents and stories of young individuals from marginalized communities. The podcast uses compelling personal narratives to inspire and promote art as a driver of social transformation. The branding integrates symbolism tied to breaking societal currents, with a visual identity inspired by the earthy tones of favela bricks, reflecting resilience and creativity. Additionally, a pilot episode was recorded and shared across all the podcast's social media platforms.
