Deck of Cards - Illustration
The project "Naiping" consists of the creation of a conceptual card deck where each suit is represented by a character inspired by its form or name, reflecting a figurative and narrative approach. The suits are reimagined as follows: Spades as a pirate, Hearts as a surgeon, Clubs as a gardener, and Diamonds as a thief. The design process integrated visual metalinguistics by using the card elements themselves as thematic inspiration. The work includes the development of character sketches, typography selection, color palette definition, layout of the cards and structural layout of the card box.
